Ruskin, Florida - A fund has been established to raise money for the teenage girl beaten and raped outside the Bloomingdale Library last April.
The girl is blind and cannot walk or swallow and will need long term care. Friends and family are hosting a benefit dinner August 11, at the Ruskin VFW at 5120 North US Highway 41. A $5.00 donation will be taken for a spaghetti dinner.
Donations for the victim can also be made at any Suntrust Bank into the "Bloomingdale Library Attack Victim Fund." For more information call 813-645-3808. |

The Ruskin Recreation Center has a large playground area, picnic shelter, three lighted basketball courts, soccer field, lighted softball and football field. The park also offers after-school and summer programs for ages 6-17. |
